So after Christmas & with not much happening I went to Pilning for 43148 but managed to miss but did get Harry & the blue 153 so not totally wasted 28/12/2015
On 11/12/2015 had a day off & was able to get out for 0Q00 with 66846 on a geometry test run in readiness for the new Hitachi's when they arrive & the on 13/12/2015 went out for the 5S56 to Kilmarnock as it had 56301 leading
On 26/11/2015 had a day off & decided a day at home was needed & so glad I did with the first daylight visit of a Colas 37 followed 20 minutes later by a pair of DRS 37's so sometimes a day home pays off
On 15/11/2015 had a shopping trip to Bristol with the wife so afterwards was going to get the Gronks at St Philips Marsh & had gen that there was a 5Z34 from Barton hill so had an hour at Dr Days Junc
On 8/11/2015 Rail Operations Group 5M56 is seen passing Worle on another typical November day & if it had been on time it would of been dryer

24/09/2015 saw the stock for Pathfinders Autumn Chieftain run as a positioning tour from Eastleigh-Paighnton, I was going to do my usual bridge on the WSM avoider but the gen received was the GWR green HST was on 1C09 & should be out of WSM in front of the tour, so I went to Brent Knoll to make sure I got both, but in the end the tour was 35 early & the HST 9 late, typical!
On the 23/09/2015 aftter the car had passed its MOT I ventured to Pilning with what could be my last visit before the station closes & the wires arrive so with a DRS move to Eastleigh & 3 Ruggex's running an enjoyable few hours were had & even had a handful of freights as well in the mix
On 05/09/2015 West Coast ran the Exmoor Statesman from Crewe-Minehaed but due to pathing issues it was routed via Weston-Super-Mare station so I went to a little foot crossing just before Uphill Junc
On 01/09/15 Colas hired 37601 from DRS for some route & driver training between Bristol East Depot & Exeter Riverside so with it being my Rest day I took the opportunity to get it around Weston as it was using ex FGW motorail vans
On 16/08/15 ventured out for the Royal Duchy & was hoping a 47 may have been on the rear but it wasn't &didn't get out for when it ran as 1Z99 to rescue this at Newton Abbot
I know I haven't been out for much in the area lately but on 7/08/15 wasn't going to let these to rare 45mph beasts go by unnoticed on 7T21 Westbury-Bath Spa
On Saturday 13th June the day before my holiday was able to get the Whistling Ghost tour
11/06/15 was a day when within 30 mins we had three good workings locally & its surprising what can turn up even now 47's still deputise for other loco's in this case it replaced a failed kettle
Being on lates lets me do some of the unusual moves as on 9/7/15 with the return convoy from The West Somerset Railway after problems the day before with the 66 all four loco's were returned in one move this was closely followed by the returning DRS route learner from Plymouth
Had to go to Bristol after work on 03/06/15 so decided to go back to my old haunt of bartletts bridge for the convoy to the West Somerset
On late turn again on 27/05/15 & the rare appearance of Caroline working in the west & the sun being out so couldn't resist popping out for it locally
On 21/05/15 I almost left it a bit late to go out for 6M51 as I didn't pick up on it was on the move until 16:00 luckily it was following a stopper so managed to get it on my local bridge
On 20/05/2015 had another day out see out & about 2015 as I departed Temple Meads managed to get another shot of 97304 this time stabled in the high level siding with a UTU set
On the way out on 30/04/2015 had to change trains at Temple Meads & found a 37 stabled as a surprise & while waiting got a shot of the changing scene
Due to the network ban imposed on WCRC DB Schenker were contracted to provide motive power for the Statesman & after problems with 67025 at Bristol temple Meads 67006 took over for the trip to penzance
On the rear of 1A04 which I took to Reading on 26/03/2015
Gen received on the morning of 06/03/15 that 153325 was out in a new livery working 2C67 I popped up the Road for it in full sun
A rare appearance of one of Network Rails Tractors to the South West happened on 26/02/2015
